Beautiful Attractions In Delhi India - INKSHIFT

After long days I am going to share my articles with you, hopefully, you all know that the capital of INDIA is DELHI. So today I will write about some beautiful attractions in Delhi, India. So you're planning a trip with your close friends for the first time and you are excited still confused about showing him/her the best tourist places in Delhi. Listed below some MONUMENTS and TEMPLES

1. The grand 'Red Fort'

Known as the historic fort in the city Delhi, it was the main residence of the emperors and popularly called as the best tourist spot in Delhi. It was built in 1638 and most of the fort innovative architectural style, magnanimous walls. Every year on the Independence day of India (15 August), the PM of India hoists an Indian '' tricolor flag'' at the main gate of the fort.

Entry fee: Free for children under 15, Rs 10 for INDIANS, and Rs 250 for foreigners

Opening hours: 9 am to 6 pm. weekly closed on Monday.

2. The glorious 'India Gate'

India Gate is one beautiful spot that defines Delhi or India, originally called the All India War Memorial. At Rajpath, the structure looks stunning in evening lights. The India gate which is illuminated every evening time, from 19:00 to 21:30, it is a major tourist attraction.

Entry fee: Free
Opening hours: Always open

3. The architectural beauty called 'Rashtrapati Bhawan'

The Rashtrapati Bhavan is a residence of the President of India. Not surrounded by typical tourist places in Delhi, but refer to the grand piece of architecture is restricted. It was established in 1929, it may refer to four floors and 340 rooms on a floor. Just visit and give a walk you will feel something special here.

4. Qutub Minar

Known as the tallest minaret in the world made up of bricks, Qutub Minar stands tall with its 73-meter tall brick minaret. The tower's style is patterned on Afghanistan's Minaret of Jam, one of the best spot in Delhi.

Entry fee: Free for children under 15, INR 10 for Indians INR 250 for foreigners

Opening hours: Sunrise until sunset, Closed on Mondays

5. 'Jantar Mantar'

Constructed in 1724 by Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur, constructed five Jantar Mantars in New Delhi, Jaipur, Ujjain, Mathura, and Varanasi. So there are five Jantar Mantar in India, from them the largest is in Jaipur. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is known as the best tourist attractions in Delhi.

Opening hours: Sunrise to sunset

6. 'Humayun's Tomb'

Humayun's Tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi. It was built in 1570 by Humayun's wife Haji Begum. The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. One of the beautiful destination in the city of Delhi.

Entry fee: INR 10 for domestic and SAARC Visitors, INR 250 for others

Opening hours: Daily, up till sunset. Best viewed in the morning or a full moon evening.

7. 'Akshardham Temple'

Akshardham Temple is one of the largest Hindu temples in the world. The complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture. It's amazing architectural work made of pink stone and white marble.

Entry fee: Free, the separate fee to view exhibitions

Opening hours: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, Closed on Mondays

8. 'Chattarpur Temple'

Chattarpur Temple is famous for its wonderful architecture. It is located in a downtown area in the south of Delhi - Chhatarpur. This temple is dedicated to Goddess, Katyayani. The temple was established in 1974, by Baba Sant Nagpal Ji. This temple was considered as the biggest temple in India and second largest in the world. There are beautiful statues of Shiv- Parvati, Ram-Darbar, Maa Katyayani, Radha-Krishna, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Laxmi, and Lord Hanuman.

Opening hours: 4:00 am - 11:00 pm

9. ISKON Temple 

Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir is the name of ISKCON Temple in Delhi, it is located on the Hare Krishna Hills (near Nehru Place), in the east of Kailash area of New Delhi, India. One of the largest beautiful temple in the city of Delhi. It is built and designed by Achyut Kanvinde, it comprises numerous rooms for priests and for service renders. They also organize prayer and Mahabharata show during the evenings. There is lots of restaurant inside the temple premises, where you will get veg food.

Opening hours: 4:30 am to 8:30 pm

10. 'Jama Masjid'

One of the largest mosques in India known as Jama Masjid, It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 at a cost of 1 million rupees. The mosque has four towers and the southern tower gives an amazing view of the city. The mosque is commonly called ''Jama'' which means Friday.

Entry fee: Free, but videography fee is INR 300

Opening hours: Daily, 7 am-12 pm : 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm. It is closed during prayers and the timings depend upon the direction of the moon.
