Mumbai (formerly called Bombay). It is the largest city in India and the Capital of Maharashtra state. It is home to India's largest slum population. Mumbai is famous for Bollywood industry. So in this blog, I will write about 5 best places in Mumbai, where you can refresh your mind and believe me you will love with those destinations.

1. Gateway of India

It is an arch monument built during the 20th century in Bombay, India. Establish in 1924 to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to the city. The Gateway of India is located on the waterfront at Apollo Bunder area at the end of Chatrapathi Shivaji Marg in South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian Sea and it is the city's top tourist spot.

2. Marine drive

Starting from the north of Nariman Point and ending at the famous Chowpatty beach, the Marine Drive is a 3km long arc-shaped road along the seacoast of South Mumbai. Marine Drive is also known as the Queen's Necklace because if you viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace. The coastlines the Arabian sea and is the best place to watch the sunset in Mumbai.

Juhu Beach is one of the famous tourist attraction in Mumbai. The most popular beach in Mumbai, Juhu beach is located close to Andheri and it was a pretty beautiful beach. Elephanta is an island stands in stark contrast with hectic Mumbai city, which is an hours ferry ride away. It is famous for Sculptures, Art, History, Caves. The Elephanta Caves contain rock cut stone sculptures that show syncretism of Hindu and Buddhist ideas and iconography. Elephanta Caves is considered one of the seven wonders of India.

5. Haji Ali Shrine
