                         Today's topic is about the 'city of Nawabs', popularly called as Lucknow. The city is also called the second-largest city of North India and also the 11th-largest city in the country. 1. Lucknow Museum


The Lucknow State Museum takes guests on a journey through history and allows the lost history freaks in primordial times. With its etchings, decorative arts, woodwork, housing sculptures, paintings, bronze statues from the ancient epoch, this museum is extremely impressive. The museum's design and construction offer visitors the visual accounts of the 1857 freedom struggle. The museum was divided into two parts: the ground floor and the basement. There is a huge double columned portico in the southern direction of the ground floor entrance. The museum has also added a new gallery to the basement. It exhibits a range of artworks recovered during the excavation of the southern part of Residency. 

2. Bara Imambara


Bara Imambara, also known as Asafi Imambara, is an imambara complex built by Asaf-ud-Daula, Awadh's Nawab in 1784, in Lucknow.  The Imambara construction was completed in 1791. The estimated cost of building the Imambara ranges from half a million rupees to a million rupees. The construction also comprises the large Asfi mosque (the labyrinth), the Bhul-bhulaija, and Bowli, a step along the river. The main hall is accessed by two imposing gates. 1024 ways to reach the terrace are said to have occurred, but only one way to return.

3. Lucknow Zoo


Lucknow Zoo is popularly referred to as the Prince of Wales Zoological Park and is spread over an area of 71.6 acres. The Lucknow Zoo is located on Hazratganj Road, opposite Lucknow Civil Hospital. This place is well connected by taxi, car rickshaws and bus. The zoo is known for the reproduction and housing of endangered species such as the White Tiger, Indian Wolf, Hog Deer, etc.

4. Dr Ambedkar Park



The park is spread over a large area and at night the park is lighted with various light that will add to the park's beautiful beauty. Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar is dedicated to the park. The park is a public park, located in the Gomti Nagar, and one of the most beautiful places in the city of Lucknow.

5. Chattar Manzil


The name Chattar Manzil means the Palace of Umbrella. The Nawabs of Awadh and their successors resided here. The palace was built in the 1780s, and during the uprising of 1857, it was one of the main bastions of the revolutionaries.

6. Begum Hazrat Mahal Park


In Lucknow's Old Victoria Park the marble memorial was built in honour of the unbelievably stunning courageous lady, Begum Hazrat Mahal. Construction of this memorial dates back to 1962. This monument was built by the country authorities on August 15 to commemorate Begum Hazrat Mahal's contribution to the 1857 Revolt. The Begum Hazrat Mahal Park was located in Lucknow's coronary heart as soon as Dusshera and other celebrations used a rally floor. Today, this park is one of Hazratganj's most exceptional gardens. Eye-catching fountains, bushes, plants, and stoned trails highlight the splendour of the park.

7. Regional Science City


Situated in Purania Road Ekta Vihar, Aliganj Extension, Sector E, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226024, it is an amazing place for science lovers. You're going to get a lot of science knowledge and experience. Also, shows like ScimaX, 3d show, Taramandal show, etc. are available. For children and students, this place is perfect. 

8. Chandrika Devi Temple


The temple is venerated in and around Lucknow. Even people come and visit from faraway places. The ideal time to get a peaceful darshan is early in the morning, and it becomes too overcrowded, and you need to keep a long queue for an insight into the deity. In the centre is also a pond with a big Shiv statue and Sarovar. When it rains, the beauty of this place increases!! You can visit it every year–During Navaratri–the temple sees millions falling down the road. There are numerous boutiques on the way to the temple.
